History of Science is historically reflecting the emergence and development of scientific disciplines. Its goal is to trace the history of individual disciplines and their relevant scientific practices and ideas. In part, History of Science overlaps with Philosophy of Science and other philosophical disciplines (such as the Science of Science) which also investigate the methods and reasons of scientific cognition, their pragmatic dimensions and social relevance.

My personal focus is on exploring the historical development of therapies of (supposed) autoimmune disease Multiple Sclerosis, which is also known as Encephalomyelitis disseminata (ED), and the models of their pathogenesis. (Sources: see below).
